Mainly migrant striking outsourced workers belonging to the Independent Workers of Great Britain (IWGB), United Voices of the World (UVW) and Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) trade unions working at the University of London (IWGB), Ministry of Justice (UVW) and Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (PCS), together with representatives of the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) Regional Council, take part in a 'Clean Up Outsourcing' demonstration to call for an end to the practice of outsourcing. The demonstration was organised to coincide with a significant High Court hearing of an application by the IWGB for judicial review of a decision by the Central Arbitration Committee (CAC) not to hear their application for trade union recognition for the purposes of collective bargaining with the University of London.
