Wendover, UK. 9th May, 2021. A view of a section of ancient woodland at Jones Hill Wood which will not be felled for the HS2 high-speed rail link. Felling of a large section of Jones Hill Wood, which contains resting places and/or breeding sites for pipistrelle, barbastelle, noctule, brown long-eared and natterer’s bats and is said to have inspired Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox, resumed after a High Court judge lifted an injunction preventing further felling and refused an application for judicial review.
