Large police operation for HS2 to remove alder tree, Denham, UKAdd to Cart Add to Lightbox Download
Denham, UK. 24 July, 2020. Freeman, an environmental activist from HS2 Rebellion, pursued by an enforcement agent from the National Eviction Team tries to clamber up an ancient alder tree from the river Colne to protect it from destruction in connection with works for the HS2 high-speed rail link in Denham Country Park. A large policing operation involving the Metropolitan Police, Thames Valley Police, City of London Police and Hampshire Police as well as the National Eviction Team was put in place to enable HS2 to destroy the tree.
