Harefield, UK. 8 February, 2020. HS2, Servest and Skanska engineers warn environmental activists from Extinction Rebellion occupying trees of their intention to fell trees in the area for the high-speed rail project. Using a variety of tactics, the activists were successful in preventing any of the scheduled tree felling by HS2 and after an intervention by a police officer all tree felling and strimming work at the location has now been cancelled for the weekend.
