Harefield, UK. 8 February, 2020. HS2 engineers walk down Harvil Road past a Stop HS2 banner during a protest by environmental activists from Save the Colne Valley, Stop HS2 and Extinction Rebellion against tree felling works for the high-speed rail project. The activists were successful in preventing any of the scheduled tree felling by HS2 and after an intervention by a police officer all tree felling and strimming work has now been cancelled for the weekend.
