Love Eurovision Hate Apartheid protest, London, UK

London, UK. 8th February, 2019. A police officer tells pro-Palestinian activists attending a 'Love Eurovision, Hate Apartheid!' protest outside BBC Broadcasting House organised by London Palestine Action that they would not be able to use a portable sound system. They were calling on the BBC to withdraw from the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest hosted by Israel so as to avoid complicity in 'artwashing' Israel's violations of Palestinian human rights. The protest formed part of a global campaign to Boycott Eurovision in Israel.
