Denham, UK. 6 February, 2020. An environmental activist from Extinction Rebellion climbs an oak tree in Denham Country Park designated for felling as part of works associated with the HS2 high-speed rail link. Works planned in the immediate vicinity include not only the felling of ancient trees but also the construction of a Bailey bridge, compounds and fencing, some of which in a wetland nature reserve forming part of a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation (SMI).
