Harefield, UK. 8 February, 2020. HS2 engineers retreat with a chainsaw after being prevented from felling trees for the high-speed rail project by environmental activists from Save the Colne Valley, Stop HS2 and Extinction Rebellion. The activists were successful in preventing any of the scheduled tree felling by HS2 and after an intervention by a police officer all tree felling and strimming work has now been cancelled for the weekend.
