Hunger striking climate activists from Extinction Rebellion assemble outside the Conservative Party headquarters on the second day of an ‘Election Rebellion’ hunger strike with three demands for election candidates: to tell the truth by declaring a Climate and Ecological Emergency, to promote policies to halt biodiversity loss and reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2025 and to help the Government create and be led by a Citizen’s Assembly on climate and ecological justice.
