Planned tree felling by HS2 thwarted by environmental activists, Harefield, UKAdd to Cart Add to Lightbox Download
Harefield, UK. 8 February, 2020. A local motorist shows his frustration with HS2 engineers blocking access to Harvil Road. The road was blocked and the Chiltern Rail line closed in order to carry out tree felling works for the high-speed rail project. The activists were successful in preventing any of the scheduled tree felling by HS2 and after an intervention by a police officer all tree felling and strimming work has now been cancelled for the weekend.
