London, UK. 6 January, 2020. Supporters of the British teenager allegedly gang-raped by a group of male Israeli tourists in Cyprus take part in a March for Justice from the High Commission of Cyprus to Parliament Square organised by The Gemini Project, a non-profit organisation founded by Lucy and Verity Nevitt in September 2018 with the aim of ending sexual violence through advocacy and campaigns. Campaigners have been calling on the Foreign Office to seek the expedition by Cyprus of the appeal process following the teenager's conviction for lying. Her treatment by the authorities in Cyprus following her traumatic experience, ranging from the police through the justice system to the judge who heard her case, has been widely criticised.
