London, UK. 16th April, 2019. A motorcycle police officer tries to intervene to prevent a religious service which had almost concluded taking place on the highway in Edgware Road close to Marble Arch on the second day of International Rebellion protests by climate change campaigners from Extinction Rebellion to call on the British government to take urgent action to combat climate change. After first sounding his siren to try to disrupt the service, the police officer was briefly prevented from accessing a police vehicle by a praying campaigner, resulting in him asking the campaigner responsible for identification details. When no answer was forthcoming, the police officer moved the campaigner's backpack some distance away and called for the campaigner to come to him with his identification details. A standoff ensued, during which time a crowd assembled and a much more substantial roadblock was formed.
