London, UK. 15th March, 2019. Thousands of students take part in the second Youth Strike 4 Climate. After gathering in Parliament Square, students marched to Buckingham Palace and then joined a protest by Extinction Rebellion which blocked Westminster Bridge. The strike was organised by UK Student Climate Network and the UK Youth Climate Coalition to demand that the Government declare a climate emergency and take positive steps to address the climate crisis, including highlighting the issue as part of the school curriculum, as well as lowering the voting age to 16, and similar events were held around the world.
